The presentation entitled “Personal Tax Planning After the 2001 Tax Law” was delivered by Mr. Mike Emmanouilidis, MSFS, Financial Planner, Axa Advisors, LLC. According to Mr. Emmanouilidis, “the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 will affect nearly all individual taxpayers - not just this year, but for many years to come. Billed as the largest tax cut in 20 years, the new legislation contains many provisions benefiting individuals and families who pay substantial income and estate taxes. This seminar highlighted the changes that could affect tax planning and suggested strategies for taking advantage of opportunities presented by the new law.”
