Anthony D. PAPAYANNIDES
is a journalist. He has written for «TO VIMA», more recently for
«ECONOMICOS TACHYDROMOS» where he was in charge of the News Section.
As a lawyer, he specialised in Community Law: he worked as a consultant
at the Ministries of National Economy, Foreign Affairs and Culture
during succesive Greek presidencies.
Chryssanthos LAZARIDIS
has had his Ph.D. in Econometrics at City University of New York,
where he has also taught. He worked as Editor in Chief at «PROINI»
daily of New York and as a commentator at N.G.TV. He writes mainly
about foreign affairs and defense issues at «ECONOMICOS TACHYDROMOS»
weekly and «TA NEA» daily.
George P. MALOUCHOS is
a political scientist. He started writing at «ECONOMICOS TACHYDROMOS»
mainly on international relations, the political system and the
Cyprus issue. He had the responsibility for a series of interviews
with Presidents Demirel, Vassiliou and Clerides, as well as with
U.N. Secretary General Boutros-Boutros Ghali. He is involved in
classical music. He writes his doctoral dissertation the Political
Philosophy of Michael Bakounin.
Angelos SYRIGOS has a
doctorate of International Law at Bristol University. He worked
as a Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He is a
lawyer; has covered issues of foreign relations and the status
of minorities in «ECONOMICOS TACHYDROMOS».
Spyros VRETOS is a journalist.
He covered environment and international issues at «ECONOMICOS
TACHYDROMOS». He was an editor-in-chief of «KEFALEO», where he
retains the responsibility of yearly special editions. He is engaged
in writing technological fiction.
George ALOGOSKOUFIS is
a professor at the Athens Economic University. He has first taught
at London University. As Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors
he was one of the main people in charge of the Manos stabilisation
effort. Presently an M.P. of New Democracy Party.
Stefanos MANOS is a central
figure of New Deomocracy party; he has served as a radically-minded
Minister at Industry, Environment, Public Works and finally National
Economy where he was associated with an important stabilisation
effort. He stands for radically liberal solutions both in the
economy and in social issues.
Michael PAPACONSTANTINOU
has been in politics ever since the George Papandreou era (he
served at Defense). He has been a Minister for Industry, Agriculture
and Justice in successive N.D. Governments. He ended at Foreign
Affaires under Mitsotakis, where he tried his almost to close
issues such as relations with FYROM or with Turkey based on a
realistic approach.
Fotini PAZARTZI is a lecturer
of Public International Law at the Athens University, Docteur
d Etat (Paris II) on peaceful solutions of conflicts

ia an associate professor of International and Strategic Stuides
at Panteion University, in charge of research at the Institute
of International Relations of Panteion; has had an essential contribution
on policy-making at the highest level.
Riccardo PETRELLA is a
Director for Research at the Directorate General of Social Affairs
of the European Commission. His radical position on matters of
the World economy, social economics and the social impact of the
application of modern economic theories has given him a varied
but wide audience.
Jacques Le CACHEUX is

Haris MATHIOPOULOS is
an LSE economist; he has been a manager of a Greek Mutual Fund

Dimistris REPPAS is a

in advertising, then in writing on current affairs. A philosopher,
he has championed causes in the public domain with both fervour
and efficacy.
Manolis KEFALOGIANNIS
is an M.P. for New Democracy. He has been active in promoting
legislation concerning public works in Greece.
Nikos FRAGKAKIS a business lawyer, specialising in Community / E.U.Law. He
has a special interest in human rights affairs.
Petros VOSKARIDIS public affairs - and - communication counselor at the
Cyprus embassy, with the rank of ambassador. He has served as Press
Spokesman of the Cyprus Government.
Costis HADJIDAKIS a Euro - MP for New Democracy. He has been head of the
youth movement of the party; he retains an important part of his influence.
Alexis DIMARAS with long experience in Education - both in front-line teaching
and in the study and reform of educational structures - he has been lately
Chairman to the Centre of Educational Research. In this capacity he was one of
the main organisers of the National Baccalaureate - whose introduction has been
postponed.
Andreas MOUSKOS an M.P. for Larnaka, Cyprus of Dimocraticos Synagermos
party. He has served as Chamber of Commerce president and as chairman to
the Cyprus Housing Bank.

Lancaster University, works at the Institute for International Relations of Panteion University.
Basilis KORKOPOULOS: an engineer, senior staff member
of the Latsis Group; M.P. for New Democracy after serving as a Secretary-General for

Alecos PAPADOPOULOS: an M.P. for PASOK, he is one
of the very few politicians who have been accepted throughout the political spectrum because
of his work at the Finance Ministry. Presently Home Secretary and Public Admiistration Minister.

Lena TSIPOURI: an economist, specialising in industrial policy. Teaches at the Athens

Anni VITSENTZOU: journalist
George XEPAPADAKOS: a journalist, has worked for «Ethnos» and

Ridvan PESHQEPIA: one of the leaders of the youth movement that overturned the
Ramiz ALIA regime and a close collaborator of Sali BERISHA up to 1992; he then quit
the Democratic Party after attacking its anti-democratic leanings. A founding member of
the Democratic Alliance, along with Neritan Cheka, Gramos Pasco and Arben Imami. An
M.P. for the Democratic Party and the Democratic Alliance, he has served as Secretary
