HORA (KIMOLOS)

Photo Kimolos consists of two villages, Palio and Kenourgio Horio. Palio Horio, with its quaint narrow alleyways and medieval style houses, stretches along the castle's area. Kenourgio Horio, with its gleaming white Cycladic houses and imposing mansions, is built around Palio Horio, and although it is more modern, it still maintains its traditional Cycladic character. In the interior of Hora are the church of Christ (1592), the Cathedral of Panagia Odigitria, that of Agios Nicholas with its 17th century icons, and Evangelistria (1608). One should also visit the noted Archaeological Museum.

PRASSA

Photo The small seaside settlement of Prassa lies 5 km north-east of Hora. Among its picturesque houses, the church of Evangelistria, which dates back to the 17th century, stands out. In the area, there are also unexplored radio containing springs with medicinal waters.

PSATHI

Photo Psathi is the port of the island of Kimolos and is 1.5 km from Hora. The settlement's picturesque houses stretch along the cove of a quiet little bay where ships, caiques, and yachts drop anchor.
