The big, touristically developed island of Naxos offers visitors many nightlife opportunities. In Hora, there is a great number of bars for every taste. One can start the night admiring the view from "Island" and continue at "Veggera", "Notos", "Jam", and "Ecstasy" which offers a panoramic view to the sea. One should also listen to good jazz at "Bikini" or to the latest dance hits at "Ocean" and "Ole". The most frequented bar of all is "Opera", where everybody ends up during the early morning hours. At Grotta beach, there is the "Grotta" bar, and at the touristic villages of Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna, there are open air discos where one can dance to recent foreign hits. For Greek music lovers, there are places in Hora with Greek folk music and the famed Naxiot festivals where everybody dances to the sound of traditional music.
