The shores of Kos attract many water-sports lovers. In the big hotels of the island, in Tigaki and Marmari, one can rent water-skiing gear, wind surfing boards, canoes and paddle boats. On the beach of Kos and in Kardamena, one can also rent parachuting and jet skiing equipment. In Mastihari, there is a Water Sports School. The big hotels offer basketball and volleyball sand, tennis courts and golf courses. In Kos town and Marmari, there are soccer fields and riding grounds. One can also go hunting on the mainland, observing their restrictive law, or go climbing on mount Dikaio (846m).
