On the island of Leros, one can find a multitude of restaurants and tavernas serving fresh fish and seafood, such as fish cooked in rosemary, octopus baked on coals and sea-hedgehogs. One can also, try the tasty local cheese "myzethra" made of oil, ash, bran and "thoubi". The meal wouldn't be complete without the local fruits "gavafes" and the traditional tasty sweets "pougia". In Platanos and Agia Marina, there are many restaurants, such as "Lemoni", "Delfini", "Agia Marina", "Glaros" and "Garbo", serving local and international cuisine. A promenade along Laki could result in dinner at "Goudy", "Mama Maria"and at "Nick's Tucka Shop"or in Alinda at the "Taverna of Sotos", "Zouboulis", "Kostaras", "Konstantinos", "Steki"or "Phoenix", while the picturesque Pandeli is known for the restaurants "Drossia", "Kaliro", "Psaropoula", "Zorbas" and "Panteli". In the beautiful village of Xerokambos, there are a few picturesque tavernas and restaurants such as "Tzitzifies", where one can taste the local cuisine.
