    TIRANE, NOV 30 (ATA) - By A Hasani: The spokesman of the Prime Minister of Albania, Ben Blushi had a meeting with reporters on Saturday in which he made a panorama of the work of the Government.

    Blushi said that the government is near the full accomplishment of its immediate priorities.

    "The two main priorities or the coming year are to prepare, approve and implement the strategy of privatization and to determine the status of the Albanian administration," he said.

    The spokesman added that all changes in the administration will be registered in a special register. The status of the civil employee is expected to pass to the Parliament within December 31, 1997.

    Blushi said referring to privatization, that the strategy has no concept at all about expropriations or deviations of this sort, used as arguments by the opposition.

    With regard to the relations between the Prime Minister and the President, Blushi said that the relations of the two powers are totally normal and very good. ssh/kei/xh/k

    [02] SHKODRA WAS LIBERATED ON NOVEMBER 29, 1994 - Former partisan

    TIRANE, NOV 29 (ATA) - By S Sharrexhi: Shkodra was liberated on November 29, 1994, says Resul Bedo, former partisan of the 6th Brigade which, together with four other brigades, liberated the city of Shkoder and the entire country from Nazi-fascists.

    Bedo said that only on November 29, 1944, in the morning, forces of the 23d Brigade which participated in the fightings, could enter Shkoder and raise the flag in Rozafa Castle.

    In his book "Liberation of Shkoder" which was presented on Friday, Bedo has mentioned all the fightings of five partisan brigades and the partisan group of Shkoder for the liberation of the city.

    "Liberation of Shkoder" is the 24th book that writer Resul Bedo has written during the war against Nazi-fascist occupiers. pas/xh/k

    TIRANE, NOV 30 (ATA) - Under the headline "November 29th magnificently celebrated, 53d of the liberation of Homeland," the newspaper Zeri i Popullit writes "Day of Freedom invites us to unite." The paper covers a news conference of the government spokesman who said that various commentaries for not good relations between the President and the prime minister "are a fuss and speculation." In the feature "Opinions," the newspaper carries the article "The state and secret information network." The newspaper writes of the meeting of the Initiative of the European Centre in which a delegation from Albania led by deputy prime minister Bashkim Fino takes part.

    Rilindja Demokratike writes: "Crime and Government celebrating," and publishes the editorial "Ideological day of communists," with regard to November 29, the Day of Liberation of Albania, which democrats to not recognize as such. The papers writes of the meeting of the chairman of DP Sali Berisha with the Prime Minister of Kosova, Bujar Bukoshi, under the title: "Kosova must come out of dangerous apathy." The newspaper also carries the article "The Rightists towards unity." After an Albanian reporter was beaten in Gjirokaster, this paper writes that the Albanian Helsinki Forum invites Albanian Government to stop violence towards reporters.

    Republika carries an editorial "November 29th, policy sobers up. "The newspaper carries an interview with the Chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, under the title "Dossiers of the parliament's spies to be opened." Under the headline "Administrative centres give bomb-alarm," the newspaper writes "Police have violated the law first." Among the social topics, there are "Gay under the bridge and near public baths."

    Koha Jone writes "Europe collects dirty money" and the editorial "Corruption, who suffers." The paper writes of the news conference of the government spokesman in which he said that the Nano-Meidani conflict is a fault of advisers. Among the actualities are "Albania, fertile land for drugs." The newspaper writes that from the beginning of the coming year, the cigarettes will be brought through the Albanian border and sold only by three selected firms. The newspaper carries an interview with Albanian Minister of Finances, Arben Malaj, citing him in the title "Smuggling has defeated us."

    Newspaper Albania writes "40 killed and 52 wounded, within a week," and carries the editorial "The country of Mafia and the state of parades." The newspaper writes that 380 million leks have been stolen from Vefa. The paper carries an interview with Kosova intellectual Prof Zekeria Cana, in which he says "Half of the nation which was placed under Slav slavery, marks November 29th as the day of reoccupation..."

    Newspaper Shekulli makes coverage of the news conference of the spokesman of the Albanian government under the title "Government: IMF is our Bible." The paper has an editorial "Celebration with fireworks in the capital: Policy in trenches." The newspaper also writes: "Secret meeting between Berisha and Bukoshi." Among social topics, the newspaper carries a reportage from the clinic where patients with Aids are under medical treatment.

    Gazeta Shqiptare writes that 5 000 Albanian emigrants will be repatriated from Italy. The newspaper has also a special feature "Aids, our modern wound." The paper cites the chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Albanian Miners and Metallurgists to have said that if the Prime Minister refuses to meet him until December 15, the miners will stage a strike on December 16, 1997. Newspaper Demokracia publishes an interview with the chairman of the Human Rights Union Party, Vasil Melo, under the title "There is not yet a genuine partnership in the coalition." kei/xh/k

    [04] "NO COOPERATION WITH DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND ITS SATELLITES"- Shkodra United Right Wing League

    SHKODER, NOVEMBER 30 (ATA) - By M Malja: "We will have no cooperation with DP and its satellites," said on Sunday the chairman of the Shkodra United Right Wing League, Mentur Quku in a news conference held in the Shkoder.

    Quku belied through a declaration reports for membership of Balli Kombetar and the Shkodra United Right Wing League in the so-called Commission "Vllaznimi" in Shkoder.

    "We consider the creation of this commission as a work of the Democratic Party and the so-called 'Union for Democracy.'"

    Quku accused DP as the one which caused the tragedy in Albania at the beginning this year.

    He also criticized SP which, according to him, is waging a fierce fight against Balli Kombetar and Legaliteti. kei/xh/k

    [05] AMBITIONS OF COCA COLA COMPANY IN SOUTHERN ALBANIA

    GJIROKASTER, NOV 30 (ATA) - By H Cani: Managers of Coca Cola company have considered natural water resources in Tepelene proper for their products.

    The president of this company's affiliate in Italy and in Albania, Christina Buzi visited two days ago the Drinking Water Facility under construction in Uji i Ftohte (Cold Water) of Tepelene by the construction firm SKY, centered in Gjirokaster.

    "The purpose of the water project is to produce natural drinking and mineral water," said the president of SKY Fredi Muci.

    Muci and Buzi discussed the possibilities for a continuous cooperation in the future.

    Ms Buzi said that not only Tepelena but also other places in Albania have brilliant possibilities for Coca Cola.

    The Drinking Water Facility in Tepelene will create jobs for about 150 people. kei/xh/k

    [06] PTT IN ALLIAS OF TIRANE PLUNDERED

    TIRANE, NOPV 30 (ATA) - By Th Thanasi: Masked people plundered Saturday afternoon the PTT affiliate in Allias, suburbs of Tirane, police reported.

    Three unidentified, masked and armed people plundered 350 000 lek in the PTT of Allias last Saturday at about 8 p.m. and left, Police Department of Tirane told ATA. kei/xh/k
