    HAS, June 6 (ATA) - By Riza Hoxha: Serb artillery pounded again the city of Krume for more than two hours on Saturday, and two persons are reported to be injured as a result of the shells.

    Well-informed sources told ATA that Serb artillery suspended its attacks after two hours of bombardments because NATO airplanes exterminated the fire centers.

    A majority part of population of Golaj commune, Has district, is being evacuated due to the Serb attacks. /dast/A.A/

    KOHA JONE, independent daily

    - "Rugova does not come to Rinas". Albanian moderated leader of Albanian Kosovars, Ibrahim Rugova, has annulled again his visit in Tirane. -"Missile depots grabbed at midnight". Six missiles grabbed from a depot belonging to Albanian Army Base in Qafe-Molle. -"The end of locals in "Rinia" park". All the 78 kiosks situated in "Rinia" park, center of Tirane, to be demolished within this year, and NATO headquarter to be constructed in their place.

    GAZETA SHQIPTARE, independent daily

    -"Alarm, shells in Krume city". All the Albanian border line shelled by Serb artillery on Saturday, and nine shells tremble the city of Krume. - "Kosovars welcome Qose as a leader". Albanian President, Rexhep Meidani and the Kosova academic, Rexhep Qosja, payed a visit on Saturday to the displaced Kosovars sheltered in Elbasan. -"Rogova refuses Tirane again". Ibrahim Rugova has postponed again his visit in Tirane.

    [03] "International Medical Corpus" in Albania

    DURRES, June 6 (ATA) - Humanitarian Australian foundation "International Medical Corpus" has brought 25 doctors and nurses from different countries of the world in Albania.

    One of the doctors, Peter MCgiin, from Australia, told ATA that they are working in Kukes in cooperation with 20 Albanian doctors and nurses, and they are to open thier offices this week in the cities of Durres, Fier and Shkoder.

    He said that their aim is to take care of the health of the deportees from Kosove, but he added that they are to continue their work in Albanian with their Albanian counterparts after the Kosovars return to their soils.

    Kerin Sandy, a nurse from USA, said that "we are working for the prior health system, and helping the local health system as well as other health services".

    These doctors have brought in Albania all the necessary medical apparatus and medicaments.

    MCgiin added that they are appointing some ambulances to be reconstructed with the funds of the Corpus. /das/A.A/

    [04] Albanian Republican Party asks continuation of NATO bombardments

    TIRANE, June 5 (ATA) - By A.Haxhiu: Albanian Republican Part (RP) asked on Saturday the international communnity to continue the attacks against Serbs until the Serb military forces definitively leave Kosove, and a military presence leaded by NATO be settled there.

    "This thing will create secure conditions for the return of Albanian war refugees in their soils within a short period of time, the setting up of democratic institutions and the holding of a referendum based on the ballots for Kosove future" RP chairman, Fatmir Mediu, briefed in a press release on Saturday.

    The leader of the Republican leader expressed his reserves on a possible presence of Russian troops, because thousands of Russian forces helped the Serb army and so they can not be a guarantee for Kosove people", said Mediu.

    RP asked the Atlantic Alliance to send even frocefully Sllobodan Milosheviç in the International Lawcourt of Hague. /lh/A.A/

    [05] Another Kosovar drown in the waters of Fierze lake

    FIRZE, June 6 (ATA) - By Riza Hoxha: Kasim Maçka, aged 15, from Libeçe village, Prizereni commune, is drown on Saturday at 16.30 in the waters of Fierze lake.

    He went their to bathe, but he remained in the water after swimming some meters.

    This is the second case within a few days that Kosovars are drown in the Fierze lake. Mirlin Shala, 12, was drown in Fierze lake only four days ago. /dast/A.A/

    [06] Albanian Center for Human Rights assist displaced Kosovars

    TIRANE, June 6 (ATA) - By Urim Bajrami: More than 3 600 displaced Kosovars are cured in a week's time in the health centers set up be the Albanian Center for the Human Rights in the Tirane and Durres refugee camps.

    The medical teams in cooperation with the doctors of public health offer to the Kosova patients a good service.

    The health service is carried out by specialists of different fields, while a mobile team attends with priority the persons suffering from chronic deceases.

    In the refugee camps near the swimming pools, which has 6. 000 refugees, the Albanian Center of Human Rights has built some teams made up of doctors and nurses who work in long hours to help the deportees in each case od emmergency. /A.A/

    [07] Aid keeps arriving in Durres port

    DURRES, June 6(ATA)-By G.Kabashi, Humanitarian aid for the Kosovars sheltered in Albania over the last two months as well as equipment and machineries for the NATO troops arrived in Durres port also on Sunday.

    Sources from the Durres port command office told ATA that the "Delos Express" ship has begun unloading.

    The same sources say the ships "Atlantic Carrier" and "Strofatos" are also expected today to bring humanitarian aid, mainly from the International Red Cross. /dast/lm/

    [08] Kosova refugees evacuation concentrated in Has

    HAS, June 6 (ATA)-By R. Hoxha,

    Fifteen military vehicles have moved on the Krume town to accelerate the relocation of the Kosova refugees who are still staying in this town.

    This has become indispensable also for the fact that all the Kosovar families which have been sheltered in the villages of Golaj commune have now arrived in the town of Krume due to the Serb bombardments, which have been very frequent of late.

    Meanwhile, the evacuation of the Kosova refugees from the Kukes town has been slow of late. On Sunday from 06.00 to 09.00, only 40 persons were relocated while one day ago 773, figures which are very low, the responsible for the evacuation commission, Qemal Parllaku, told ATA.

    Some 98 persons, all former prisoners of the Smerkovnice jail, crossed the border point of Morine on Saturday.

    Since the beginning of the Kosova refugee influx, some 417.818 Kosovars have entered the Kukes prefecture, while 346.360 persons have been relocated to other districts. /dast/lm/

    [09] Krume town shelled again

    KRUME, June 6 (ATA)-By R. Hoxha, The Krume town was again the target of Serb artillery shelling on Sunday by midday.

    The Serb artillery began shelling at 12.00 and continued at intervals and five shells fell near the town's hospital, damaging an electricity room and causing the curtailment of electric power in the town.

    This bombardment and that overnight which also injured two people has created much concern among the locals as well as the Kosova refuges staying in this city.

    As a result, more than 700 Kosova refugees have left the town by various vehicles. Also, the local families have begun to send the women and children towards Kukes.

    Sources from the border police report that fighting between the KLA and the Serb army near the Albania-Kosova border continue. The most fierce fighting took place in the area of Pashtrik, in the vicinity of Cahan village, which was also bombarded by Serb planes in the afternoon. /lh/lm/

    [10] Criteria on food supply for Kosovar and host families in Albania determined

    TIRANE, June 6 (ATA)-By G. Dilaveri, Based on an agreement signed recently among the Albanian government, the U.N. High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Red Cross Movement, the criteria of food supply for all the Kosova refugees in Albania as well as the families hosting them have been defined.

    The International Red Cross Movement will cover expenditures for 225 000 Kosovars and the host families for June and July (from August 1 this number will be 300 000), while the supply of the rest of the refugees (all the camp refugees) will be covered by the UNHCR/WFP partnership, according to sources from the High Commissariat for Refugees.

    The UNHCR/WFP partnership, according to the agreement, will carry out the food supply through the network of partner non-governmental organisations and will be responsible for financing their expenditure.

    The Red Cross Movement will realise this through the agreement among the Red Cross International Federation, Red Crescent and the Albanian Red Cross. /lh/lm/
