Making a summary of Albania's activity carried out in cooperation with the Council of Europe, PM Meta mentioned the ratification of the European Charter of Local Autonomy and in this context the legal package being prepared for the decentralisation of the local government and the projects and assistance in the field of judiciaries.

"We think that our region will progress when all will accept a philosophy of cohabitation, when all will accept the existence of a multiethnic society, because this will open the way to the integration of the region of Southeast Europe," said Meta.

"In this context, Albania may assist a lot and may serve in the future as a main factor for the complete integration of the region in the European organisations," said Furrer. /dast/xh/
