KOZARSKA DUBICA - The first candidate of the Serbian Demo cratic Party (SDS) list of deputies for the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) and the acting president of the Party, Aleksa Buha, stated today that the upcoming elections "will be the most complex elections ever held in the world", and warned at "possible manipulations and incidents". While talking at the assembly organised at the Mostanica monastery, near Kozarska Dubica, regarding the Orthodox holiday Transfiguration and the sixth anniversary of the formation of the SDS in the area, Buha said "that achieved in blood can be endangered unless we come to elections". "We want to have a modern Serb national state with guaranteed minorities rights", stated SDS candidate for the house of representatives of the RS and Federation Parliament, Slobodan Bijedic, on the same occasion. The SDS candidate for vice president Dragoljub Mirjanic, talked of the SDS as a "party which reached a national reconciliation and created the Serbian state". The SDS candidate for the joint presidency of RS and the Corat Muslim Federation, Momcilo Krajisnik, stated that "The Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) wants to eliminate all Serbian rifts and make the feeling of belonging to the Serbian nation a priority for all the Serbs, once for all". The meeting was attended by over 18,000 citizens.

NOVI GRAD - September elections should show whether the Republika Srpska (RS) is going to be the first Serbian national state on the left bank of the Drina River, or it is going to be embraced by Pope and jihhad, stated the RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic during his visit to Novi Grad. "It is your decision. By your September 14 vote you will either seal out the RS existence or break this dream and sign up one more largescale exodus of the Serbian people from these areas", stated Klickovic, while addressing to people gathered regarding the sixth anniversary of creation and work of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) in Novi Grad.

BEOGRAD - The World Congress of the Serbs (SSS), appealed all refugees in Yugoslavia and abroad to come to September elec tions and vote for the proven patriots. "We must not allow the humiliation of knightly Serb Army, we must not allow domestic and foreign political circles to cast a shadow of shame over the SDS candidates", says the appeal.

SOKOLAC - The director of the OSCE Regional Centre in Soko lac, Benjamin Karakostanoglou, expressed his fear that the Serbi an people could boycott September elections, if the SDS is for bidden from participating. "In order to have the SDS excluded from the upcoming elections, there must be a really good reason", said Karakostanoglou in a statement given regarding a threat by the high representative Carl Bildt that the SDS partic ipation at the elections will be endangered if posters and photos of Dr. Radovan Karadzic are not removed from public sites.

SOKOLAC - Walls of the Romanijska Lazarica Church, in Soko lac, the oldest religious building in the Romanija area, were fairly cracked this evening due to detonations provoked by blow ing up ammunition taken by IFOR troops from the Margetici Serb Army dump. The local priest Milorad Ljubinac demanded IFOR halt this action, lest to provoke even worse destruction of buildings in this municipality.

DOBOJ - The president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) for RS, Nikola Poplasen, explained the decision for the withdrawal of his candidacy for the RS president "by contribution of the SRS to the maintenance of RS and bolstering of unity at the upcoming elections". As Poplasen pointed out, it should be done also by other parties claiming that the RS is their interest".
