OCT. 4, 1996 DAY

NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The Serb representative in the three-member B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, characterised yesterday's signature of Alija Izetbegovic on a document normalising relations with Yugoslavia as his "second fault" since he was elected chair of the joint presidency. "The first one was made in New York, and the second yesterday. We cannot agree with this Izetbegovic's act, for he undermined the right to decide without seeking consent with other two Presidency members", explained Momcilo Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - The first listed among Serbian Democratic Party candidates for the House of Representatives of the Dayton B-H, Slobodan Bijelic, warned that it would never come to a meeting of the joint bodies, did Muslim representatives continue to neglect Serb national interests. In his statement for SRNA, Bijelic expressed his suspicion that yesterday in Paris, Milosevic and Izetbegovic "discussed something secret for the Serbs in RS".

BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj, stated that "yesterday's Milosevic's recognition of B-H represents the largest betrayal and a crime against the Serbian nation". "Serbian president has definitely given up RS and helped Alija Izetbegovic to finally create the Islamic state, in the territory which belong to the Serbian people", stated Seselj at an preelection meeting held in Nis.

BEOGRAD - The spokesman of the Democratic Party of Serbia, Milorad Jovanovic, assessed that "by establishing the diplomatic relations between Yugoslavia and B-H, Milosevic showed he was closer to Sarajevo than to Pale". The president of Serbia thinks "avnoj" borders are a sacred thing, while he failed to do what Tudjman did two years ago - "to establish a confederation or special ties between Yugoslavia and RS" - said Jovanovic in his statement for SRNA.

BEOGRAD - The Democratic Party spokesman, Slobodan Vuksanovic, stated that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Yugoslavia and the Dayton B-H was no surprise. "We can conclude that the routine of underestimation of the public by way of covering up details, is being continued, this time the case is about the document signed by Milosevic and izetbegovic, which document is extremely important for the fate of our country and our people", stated Vuksanovic at a press conference in Belgrade.

SARAJEVO - The Municipal elections RS and Federation of B-H will be held between 22 and 24 of November, announced Robert Frowick in Sarajevo.

SARAJEVO - The Municipal elections in RS and the Croat- Muslim Federation will be held between November 22 and 24, confirmed Slobodan Kovac, the RS member of the Provisional Electoral Commission.

ZVORNIK - The RS government must undertake all measures needed for a gradual economic reconstruction, since some more comprehensive aid from abroad is not to be expected to arrive, stated the RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic during his visit to Birc. Klickovic announced a reorganisation of the Government, review of internal policy, setting up of RS Army Main Staff, while the reinforcement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is under way.

ZVORNIK - The RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic stated that there was no ground for the setting up a commission comprised of IFOR, IPTF and UNHCR representatives to issue permissions to Muslim for stay in Serb territory, "for it can be done only by the Ministry of internal Affairs".

NEW YORK - The UN secretary-general Boutros Boutros-Ghali, assessed that peace and security in the Dayton Bosnia can be ensured "only with the presence of credible international armed forces", reports AFP. Ghali directly supported the keeping of international troops in the Dayton Bosnia after December 1996, in his report to the UN Security Council.
