SARAJEVO - At its today's meeting in the National Museum in Sarajevo, the Presidency of the Dayton B-H was positive about three World Bank reconstruction projects for Republika Srpska (RS) and Federation of B-H, but a decision on signing of the document will be brought at the next Presidency meeting. "According to the procedure, adopted at the 8th session of the Presidency, the agreement with the World Bank will be signed by Alija Izetbegovic", reads the joint statement. The Presidency accepted credential of new ambassadors to the Dayton B-H: Mikele Valensis from Italy, Ricardo Dies-Hohletner from Spain, Ahmed Ali An- Ansarty from Qatar, Anatoli Shostak from Ukraine, Bernard Davenport from Ireland, and Carlos Raul Kamako from Columbia.

BANJALUKA - The RS state delegation, led by the RS vicepresident, Dragoljub Mirjanic, is, from January 18, in visit to Greece. The delegation is comprised of RS premier, Gojko Klickovic, RS minister of transport, Nedeljko Lajic, and vice-president of the RS Chamber of Commerce, Svetislav Murdenovic. The RS delegation was received by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Salonica.

SARAJEVO - The chief prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal, Louise Arbour, talked in Sarajevo with prime minister of the B-H Federation, Edhem Bicakcic, and is due to meet RS leaders tomorrow, reports Reuter.

THE HAGUE - The Hague Tribunal for War Crimes in Former Yugoslavia delayed a trial to a Croat and three Muslim indicted for war crimes against Serbs in the prisoner camp of Celebic, near Konjic, reports Reuter. "Upon defence's request, the trial is delayed for March 10", announced Tribunal's spokesman. The beginning of the process has been planned for 28 of January, but was delayed in order to create more time for attorneys. The indicted Muslims, Zejnil Delalic, Hazim Delic and Esad Landzo, and a Croat Zdravko Mucic, are indicted for murder, rape and torture of Serb inmates in the Celebic camp in early 1992.

BEOGRAD - The police beat demonstrators in several Belgrade's quarts, reports AFP, citing witnesses who reported the violence to Radio B-93. Meanwhile students are still facing the police cordon in the Kolarac Street in Belgrade and, as a member of the initiative Board of the Students' Protest 96/97 stated, students would remain at the same place in the next 24 hours.

PRISTINA - The Kossovo Liberation Army, an illegal Albanian terrorist organisation, admitted Thursday's an attempt of assassination of the Pristina University rector, Dr. Radivoj Popovic, reports AFP, adding that the agency received a message with the admission. The Kossovo Liberation Army claims the assassination of prof Popovic - who was qualified as "real enemy of the Albanian people" - was attempted by a "rapid intervention unit" with this Organisation. /end/
