NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - In his addressing to deputies at the 10th session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS), president in the joint B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, dismissed as unconstitutional decision of RS president Biljana Plavsic to disband the RS Assembly. "The Assembly is not disbanded, and the illegal decisions have already caused political and constitutional crisis". The decisions must be withdrew, otherwise they can easily endanger the survival of RS", stated Krajisnik. He called upon president Plavsic to "engage in activities of the RS state institutions". If in disagreement with the majority, she should resign, said Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - The first vice-president of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Aleksa Buha, invited the RS president to join RS leaders in finding solution to the crisis within the framework of the state institutions. "If she refuses to do so, than it would be honourable from her to resign. If this option is not workable for he either, that we will be forced to put an end to the double-rule in the country, by way of recalling the president", stated Buha in his address to deputies at the 10th session of the RS National Assembly.

SARAJEVO - Taking decision to disband RS National Assembly and replace RS minister of interior, Dragan Kijac, the RS president Biljana Plavsic violated the constitutionality and legitimacy of the state, stated president of the RS National Assmelby, Dragan Kalinic, during the Assembly session. "Because of these decisions, the RS president can easily find herself faced with the legal authority, because the state policy cannot be determined by an individual" stated Kalinic.

SARAJEVO - The vice-president of the RS National Assembly, Miroslav Vjestica, accused RS president of breaching the basic constitutional principle - cooperation with all institutions on power in decision-making process. "She brought a decision on suspension and taking control over the Police in Brcko, which is an unconstitutional act", Vjestica argued.

SARAJEVO - The RS minister of internal affairs, Dragan Kijac, assessed that the security situation in RS was quite satisfactory. He pointed out that the Ministry of Interior's report on the security situation in the country submitted a month ago was not taken seriously by the state leadership.

SARAJEVO - The RS deputies adopted a conclusion according to which the Assembly will be in a permanent session "until the crisis is solved or unless the Assembly decides otherwise", with 48 voters for, and with no votes against or abstained. The Assembly urged the Government to bring the same decision.

BANJALUKA - The RS president Biljana Plavsic, convened Government session for July 5, at 14:00 hrs in Banjaluka. In her invitation sent to the RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic, she set two main items - debate on Government activities and other issues.

SARAJEVO - The session of the B-H collective Presidency was held today in the National Museum in Sarajevo, with the presence of seven US congressmen, led by republican leader in the US Senate, Tret Lot. President in the B-H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik assessed the talks as useful opportunity to present RS attitudes, which differ a lot from those being presented in the USA in the name of the whole of B-H.

SARAJEVO - The president in the B-H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik, talked in the National Museum in Sarajevo with deputy US charge d'affaires, Michael Parmley and special envoy of US president, Mr. Covey, on the present political situation in RS. According to Krajisnik, both Parmley and Covey expressed their regret because of developments in RS, which are the reason why US special envoy for Balkans, Galbard, postponed his trip to the USA. end/
