President Krajisnik gave several suggestions in that direction at last night's meeting with president Plavsic, attended by RS vice-president Dragoljub Mirjanic and first vicepresident of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Aleksa Buha. "I suggested that the decision dissolving the RS National Assembly and the initiative to recall the RS president be withdrawn, and I suggested to make a public appeal to people not to take sides", stated Krajisnik adding that "all statements nourishing the rift should not be referred to".BANJALUKA - The constitutional crisis, caused by senseless decision to dissolve the RS National Assembly, and the murder and arrest in Prijedor should be taken in the same context - creation of instability and turmoil in RS", assessed the president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, adding that the events in Prijedor can serve as a lesson for us all. "All this is deemed to bring self-rescinding of RS and introduction of protectorate", warned Kalinic in his TV address to public. While mentioning that the war was defensive one, he warned that "a climate of uncertainty is being created in RS for everyone who took upon the arms or otherwise fought war for defended RS". BANJALUKA - The president of the House of Representatives of the B-H Parliamentarian Assembly from RS Slobodan Bijelic, stated in Banjaluka that "in the current constitutional crisis we have to turn around, for it is a very risky time for big decisions". "Crime cannot be a valid reason for this kind of hazard and adventure. The RS existence is recognised by the Dayton agreement, that is why we have to fortify its borders and work in the interest of the people and wellbeing in general", assessed Bijelic in a special TV programme. BANJALUKA - The former Prijedor police chief, Simo Drljaca, killed by SFOR troops on June 10, was buried today at the St. Pantelija graveyard in Banjaluka, in presence of his family, friends, fellow soldiers and top RS officials. BANJALUKA - Cowardly murdering the former chief of police in Prijedor, Simo Drljaca, the attackers wanted to kill our idea of state, kill our police and army and thus leave us without protection, stated deputy minister of interior, Milenko Karisik, in his speech delivered at the burial of Simo Drljaca. THE HAGUE - The British defence secretary George Robertson stated that NATO would go on with arrests, and that last week's events in Prijedor were "just the beginning". According to him, SFOR operations are connected with "impatience of Muslim authorities in B-H, who want to see the suspects in Tribunal's detention department as soon as possible".
