NEW YORK - The delegation of Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ headed by premier Milorad Dodik was received in Washington yesterday at the highest level, by State Secretary Madeleine Albright, who at the press briefing shortly said that "Dodik's Government represent refreshment in relation to all former RS governments in B&H". Dodik reminded that RS until now has got only promises for financial aid, but not a real resources. He expressed the expectation that the aid this time will be real and announced his resignation if this time too the financial resources do not come. As SRNA learns, during talks in Cabinet of Mrs. Albright, to Dodik was promised urgent aid for RS in amount of five million of $US, which would be approved next week by US Congress.

SARAJEVO - The newly appointed associate and authorised Ambassadors of B&H will, in Sarajevo, on the fifth day of preparations for performing future duties, be informed about the organisation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs /MIP/ of B&H in communications with this and other organs of B&H. In the framework of ten days preparations Ambassadors of B&H would be informed about the communication in the receiving country. Newly appointed B&H Ambassadors yesterday talked in Sarajevo with the officials and economists of Federation B&H. On that occasion the director of the World Bank for B&H Rory O'Sullivan and ambassador of MIP B&H Mustafa Bijelic presented the platform on "Reconstruction and development of B&H".

SARAJEVO - The protest board against arresting of Goran Vasic in Serbian Sarajevo assessed that the special UN envoy for B&H Elizabeth Rehn did not fulfil the promise that she will help in solving this case - stated yesterday the member of the Board Dragisa Maunaga. "We expected better results, we are now at the very beginning. Mrs. Rehn did not answers on our demands to try to broker in Vasic's extraditing to organs of RS" - said Maunaga after the meeting of the Protest Board with Alizabeth Rehn.

BANJA LUKA - The delegation of the Association of Serbian- Ukraine friendship of RS, in Belgrade yesterday considered with Markian Ljubkivski the possibilities of improvement of cultural cooperation of two republics, preserving and renewing identity of Ukrainians in RS. The delegation, lead by president of Association Slobodan Negradic, talked with the Ukrainian attache also about improving cultural, spiritual, educational and informational institutions and organising manifestations of Ukrainians in RS.

NOVI SAD - The president of Independent Serbian Democratic Party /SSDS/ Vojislav Stanimirovic confirmed to Novi Sad's "Daily" that in last weeks moved from Srem-Baranja region /SBO/ to Norway and England 500 Serbs. Stanimirovic assessed that these emigrants will hardly get asylum in mentioned countries. He reminded that even one Norweign delegation came here to investigate the reasons of emigration.

PODGORICA - The president of Montenegro /CG/ Milo DJukanovic stated yesterday in Podgorica that "current political conflict in CG is only radical projection of confrontation of two political concepts in the framework of FR Yugoslavia about further development and future of the country". About current political moment of CG Djukanovic and Montenegrian premier Filip Vujanovic talked in the separate visits with Ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium to Belgrade Jouris Couvrer. The Montenegrian president said to Belgian Ambassador that "the one political concept - the one which won at the presidential elections in Montenegro - is striving on economic and political reforms, democratisation, opening towards world and faster return of FRY into the international community".

SIROKI BRIJEG - Because of founded suspicion that they organised and helped the illegal transition of seven citizens of Bangladesh to Croatia, in Mostar are detained Zeljko Kukic /1959/ from Posusje, Ante Topic Ban /1967/ from Imotski and Bruno Majic /1971/ - reported yesterday the Croatian radio Herceg Bosna. In the settlement GOrica in the vicinity of border crossing Zavala, on February 17 this year around 20,00 h Ante Topic tried illegally to carry over the border, by the car Opel-kadet RO-543 AA, four citizens of Bangladesh.
