"The state has no alternative, it is on the first place and everything else in second plan", said Krajisnik for SRNA after last night's session of the main board of SDS, at which was accepted the resignation of the former presiding of the Presidency of party Aleksa Buha, and for new president was elected Dragan Kalinic. Main board of SDS has confirmed the post of Dragan Cavic as the vice-president of the party.DOBOJ - The deputy president of the Presidency of SDS Dragan Cavic stated that the members of main board of the party last night in Doboj have elected Mirko Banjac from Banja Luka for the first man on the list for the House of Representatives in the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H instead of Radomir Lukic, who gave up from the nomination for that post. Cavic said for SRNA that the reasons why Lukic gave up are of personal nature, stressing that Lukic was actively participated in the work of main board and that furthermore is the member of this body. VIENNA - The minister counsellor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H Gordan Milinic stated in Vienna that with 4,000 newly arrived applications for registration the total number of registered voters abroad for general elections in RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ today amounts 143,498. In the statement for SRNA Milinic precisely stated that of 4,000 new applications for registration around 2,000 came from Germany. In this state the total number of registered voters is 51,440. BANJA LUKA - In the framework of marking the St. Patron's day of Army of RS /VRS/ the delegation of General Staff has laid the flowers on the Monument of killed Serbian soldiers at the city cemetery St. Pantelija in Banja Luka. The delegation consisted of the deputy chief of General staff colonel general Novica Simic, assistant of the commander of the First Corps of VRS major Jovo Blazanovic and assistant of minister of Defence of RS Slobodan Jelicic. BANJA LUKA - By the Holy Liturgy in the Synaxis temple "The St. Trinity" in Banja Luka, served by the priests Ratko Radujkovic, Milan Sandic and Jovan Lazicic, along with assistance of the clergy of the Banja Luka eparchy, in Banja Luka was marked Vidovdan /St. Lazarus and All Serbian Martyrs/ - the St. Patron's Day of VRS. In the presence of the huge number of believers the holy liturgy which pays tribute to Vidovdan and great martyr tsar Lazar was attended by the president of RS Biljana Plavsic, vicepresident of RS Government Djuradj Banjac and several ministers, as well as the chief of General Staff of VRS colonel general Momir Talic and high military officials. VIENNA - By serving the holy liturgy and requiem for all fallen veterans for faith and fatherland from Kosovo until today was celebrated the great Serbian religious holiday Vidovdan in two temples of Serbian Orthodox Churches /SPC/ in Vienna. Several hundred Serbs, who on the occasion of the church holiday passed through the temples of SPC in Vienna, attended to the traditional Vidovdan's academy. VIENNA - The Austrian president Thomas Klestl stated that he is against any kind of military intervention on Kosmet without approval of the Security Council of UN and repeated that the international community do not support the independence of this Serbian province. JUNE 28, 1998 EVENINGNEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKAJAGODINA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic said to the TV Jagodina "Palma plus" that the statement of co-presiding of the Council of Ministers of B&H Haris Silajdzic about letting the territory of B&H as the basis for eventual military intervention of NATO in Kosovo is astonishing that it was condemned by the Serbian people. "Silajdzic comes out from the position of unitary B&H on what he has no right, because it is known what is B&H according to the Dayton Agreement", warned Mrs. Plavsic, stressing that the statement of co-presiding of the Council of Ministers do not contribute to the stabilisation of the situation on Balkans.BANJA LUKA - On the occasion of Vidovdan - St. Patron's day of RS Army - in the Central Club of Rs Army in Banja Luka the chief of General Staff of VRS Momir Talic reminded that "50 years ago from our homes were taken out the icons, holy bread, candles, "panaia" and all things which have characterised us as Serbs" and again stressed the significance of the Kosovo legacy. The central celebration started by the festive inspection of military units of VRS performed, escorted by chief of General staff colonel general Momir Talic, the president of RS and the supreme commander of armed forces of RS Biljana Plavsic. BANJA LUKA - The minister of religions of RS Jovo Turanjanin has congratulated to all soldiers and officers Vidovdan - the St. Patron's Day of VRS. "In the name of the Ministry of religions and in my own name I am sending you the most sincere congratulations along with the desire to celebrate this great religious and state holiday and celebrate in the future with the blessing of St. duke Lazar, remaining his decent followers and faithful to his holy legacy and commitment." NOVI GRAD - By serving the requiem to the killed soldiers in the Orthodox temple of St. Apostle Peter and Paul and solemn inspection of army units of Novi Grad brigade of the First Krajina Corps of Serbian Army in Novi Grad was marked Vidovdan - the St. Patron's Day of VRS. To soldiers has addressed the commander of Novi Grad brigade major Miroslav Radakovic, who stressed the importance of Vidovdan for Serbian people. BELGRADE - The former president of the Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha denied that the reason of his resignation on the party functions the family obligations. Reacting on the statement of the president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik in the programming of the BK TV "Telefakt" Buha stated for SRNA that the reason of his resignation was cited in "insatiable desire of president Krajisnik to do on his own the matters which are not his job", because of what, according to Buha, "they had disputes earlier too". SREBRENICA - The president of municipal assembly of Serbian Democratic Party of Srebrenica Momcilo Cvjetanovic doubts in the impartiality of newly appointed presiding of executive board of the municipal assembly of Srebrenica American Larry Sampler. Cvjetanovic claims that Sampler "is one of the main guilty persons for irregularities in registration of Moslem voters in elections in absentia at the local elections last year". SOKOLAC - In the presence of the president of Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Dragan Kalinic in Sokolac are opened new premises of Radio Romanija. Kalinic stressed that he expects that Radio Romanija "will, by spreading the truth about the Serbian people and objectively informing contribute to keeping the Serbian state". NEW YORK - U.S.A. have sent 12 navy specialists to B&H in the secret operation of catching indicted persons for war crimes - was published in the June issue "US news and world report". In the report is said that the specialists from the elite unit for fighting the terrorism are already one year on the territory of B&H and that they are participating in the operation of capturing war criminals. SARAJEVO - The frequent terroristic attacks, murders, incidents and barricades in Middle Bosnian canton are devised for disabling return of refugees in that part of Federation B&H /FB&H/, is stated in the comment of radio in federal part of Sarajevo. "If the seriousness of the causes and consequences of terrorism in the region of this canton is not understood, the whole concept of FB&H will be brought into question", is the comment of this radio. USORA - The vice-president of the Presidency of the New Croatian Initiative /NHI/ Ivo Lozancic stated in Usora that the former policy of Croatian Democratic Community /HDZ/ of B&H has brought to the fact that thousands of Croats have abandoned Tomislavgrad.
