    [01] Government - Fires - Aid

Nicosia, Jun 16 (CNA) - The Cyprus government will come to the aid of all people who have sustained damages during the raging fires that have been burning down vast areas in the Larnaca district over the past four days, its Spokesman Michalis Papapetrou said today.

The Spokesman rejected criticism that the government does not have a plan to tackle such emergency cases and that there is no coordination, noting however that there is always room for improvement.
