1315:CYPPRESS:01[01] Weather forecast for CyprusNicosia, Jun 29 (CNA) -- According to the Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport, the weather forecast for Cyprus is:Friday and Saturday: 30/06/2000 to 01/07/2000 The weather will be fine and sunny. Probable mist during night and early mornings near the coastal areas cannot be excluded. Sea breezes light to gentle, locally moderate will prevail during daytime. During nighttime the mainly light catabatic winds will dominate. Teh sea will be generally slight. The maximum temperature will fluctuate between 33C and 37C and teh minimum between 19C to 24C. Outlook for Sunday and Monday 02/07/2000 to 03/07/2000 The weather will continue fine with probable local mist patches during night. The temperature will note further rise. Sea temperature: 25C CNA GP/2000ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY1330:CYPPRESS:02[02] Political parties - Joint communiqueNicosia, Jun 29 (CNA) -- Greek and Turkish Cypriot parties decided to organise a "festival of mutual understanding" in September to promote communication and a spirit of understanding between the island's two communities.The parties also announced they will se up a coordinating committee to deal with the details of the festival and said they would meet again in late August at the Ledra Palace hotel, in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia.
