    Papandreou calls on Turkish side to show will for Cyprus solution

    New York, Feb 4 (CNA) -- Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou has called on the Turkish side to show the necessary political will to enable the UN-sponsored direct talks on Cyprus not only to continue but also to see substantive movement towards a solution in the framework of UN decisions.

    Nicosia, Feb 4 (CNA) -- The Meteorological Office at Larnaca International Airport has issued the following weather forecast for Cyprus:

    On Tuesday Feb 5 and Wednesday Feb 6 the weather will be mainly fine. Winds will be northeasterly, moderate in the afternoon and light at night. Temperatures will be maximum 19 to 21 degrees Celsius and minimum 6 to 8 degrees.

    Outlook for Thursday Feb 7 and Friday Feb 8: The weather will continue mainly fine. No significant change in temperatures is expected.
