National Council to convene afresh tomorrow

The Hague, Mar 9 (CNA) - The National Council convened tonight in The
Hague, under President of the Republic Tassos Papadopoulos, in view of
tomorrow's meeting with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
After the meeting, which lasted about one-and-a-half hours, no
statements were made. The National Council will convene again tomorrow
morning, before the President meets with Annan. The UN chief is
scheduled to meet Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash after his
meeting with President Papadopoulos.
