Tourism Minister: Quality of tourism industry should be upgraded
Nicosia, Aug 19 (CNA) Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Yiorgos
Lillikas expressed his determination to implement the strategic plan
for the quality upgrading of the tourism industry on the island to the
levels which existed before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in
the US.

Cyprus government denounces bomb attack at UN in Baghdad
Nicosia, Aug 19 (CNA) The Cyprus government, through its Foreign
Minister, Georgios Iacovou, condemned the bomb attack, which devastated
the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least
16 people and wounding scores.
