Nicosia, May 23 (CNA) - Kyrenia Bishop Pavlos has deplored the ''new
provocative action'' of the regime in the Turkish-occupied areas of the
Republic of Cyprus to turn the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Kyrenia
into a museum.

United Nations, May 23 (CNA) - Cyprus' Permanent Representative at the
UN, Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis, sent a letter to the UN Secretary
General on May 13 protesting against new violations of Cyprus' national
airspace and the Nicosia Flight Information Region by Turkish fighter
jets during March, April and early May.
