[01] US congratulates Cyprus EU presidency
Eric H. Holder Jr., Attorney General of the United States, has
congratulated the Cyprus Presidency of the EU on its excellent work.
Holder made the remark during a meeting in Brussels with Cyprus Justice
and Public Order Minister Loucas Louca, who is participating in a meeting
of the Global Alliance against Child Sexual Abuse Online.
The US official congratulated Cyprus on its successful presidency,
noting that issues concerning the EU and the US as well as terrorism
were examined during the meeting.
[02] Employment and health issues at EPSCO Council
The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council
(EPSCO) will hold a two-day meeting on Thursday and Friday in Brussels
devoted to employment, social policy and health issues.
The session dedicated to employment and social policy issues will take
place Thursday and will be chaired by Sotiroula Charalambous Minister
for Labour and Social Insurance of Cyprus.
The Friday session will deal with health issues and will be chaired by
Minister of Health Androula Agrotou.
