[01] Communications Minister: Huge prospects in energy sector LimassolMinister of Communications and Works Tasos Mitsopoulos has said that up to five thousand new jobs would be created over the next three years in the energy sector, which provides huge prospects and possibilities for the Cypriot economy.Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of EDT Offshore, whose facilities include a mud-plant, to be used for the appraisal wells in the Cyprus Block 12 A-1 field, Mitsopoulos said that it was necessary, in view of the new jobs, to train young people in occupations related to the energy sector. The Cypriot athletes won eight gold out of 13 in the track and field disciplines and four out of six in group sports.
