[01] House President expresses sorrow over terrorist attack in Moscow

The President of the House of Representatives Mr. Spyros Kyprianou sent yesterday a telegram to the President of the Russian Duma Mr. Guennadi Seleznev, expressing deep sorrow over yesterday's terrorist attack in Moscow that resulted in the death and injury of many civilians.

In his telegram Mr. Kyprianou stresses that «this terrorist act should be viewed as an attack against civilised society since it violates the fundamental human rights and the rule of Law».

Moreover in the telegram Mr. Kyprianou extends his sincere condolences to the families and the relatives of the victims and to the Russian people.
