The so-called TRNC was promoted to the Diving Fair with the intervention of the "TRNC Information Bureau" in Goteborg.

The slogan that was used at the Fair was "The forgotten paradise of the Mediterranean" and the purpose was to promote "TRNC" tourism in the Scandinavian countries.

The people who visited the "TRNC" stand were proposed weekly trips to the occupied area at a very attracting package. More than 300 persons made reservations, the paper says.
