  • [01] La Commission alloue 25 millions € à un deuxième programme de réhabilitation d'urgence post crise en Côte d'Ivoire

    La Commission européenne a adopté un deuxième programme de réhabilitation d'urgence affectant un montant additionnel de 25 millions € à la consolidation du processus de paix en cours en Côte d'Ivoire. Ce deuxième dispositif d'urgence a pour objectif de promouvoir la réunification du pays en rétablissant une administration civile efficace sur l'ensemble de son territoire, en améliorant la sécurité des populations et en étoffant la fourniture des services sociaux, santé et éducation inclus.

    [02] Commission allocates €22 million in humanitarian aid to vulnerable populations in Uganda, Somalia and the Republic of Angola

    The European Commission has adopted three humanitarian aid packages totalling €22 million for the victims of crises in Uganda (€6 million), Somalia (€8 million) and the Republic of Angola (€8 million). These funds are managed by the Humanitarian Aid Office (ECHO) under the responsibility of Commissioner Poul Nielson. They will help pay for better access to healthcare and nutrition programmes, improve food and water supplies and sanitation systems and facilitate the return and resettlement of displaced people.
