    [02] ASE resumes trading

The Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) will resume trading operations at 15.00 local time (13.00 GMT) on Thursday, its board announced hours earlier. The Greek stock market said the trading session will be extended for one hour, with closing time at 17.30 local time.

The Greek bourse was closed for three days after a strike action by the Bank of Greece's employees blocked the country's payment and settlement system.
