    AMNA -- Greece occupies the fourth position in Europe and the seventh internationally regarding the new established photovoltaic potential in 2012, according to statistical data publicised by the Federation of Photovoltaic Companies.

Thanks to the photovoltaics, in 2012 the emission of 1.12 million tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere was avoided.
