AMNA--The only way Europe can promote growth is to cancel the austerity policy and change the role of the European Central Bank and the European Investment Bank, Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leader Alexis Tsipras said on Saturday.

On the debts households face in Greece, Tsipras said that the party had tabled a bill proposing "the complete write-off of debts for citizens who have fallen below the poverty level and the reduction of monthly installment payments."
