    ANA/MPA---Both New Democracy and main opposition SYRIZA receive 15.5 percent in euroelections, according to an opinion poll conducted by Public Issue for Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper.

    According to the poll results, ND and SYRIZA are followed by the new party "Potami' with 7 percent, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 5 percent, Ultra-right Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avghi) with 4.5 percent, PASOK with 3.5 percent, Independent Greeks with 2.5 percent and Democratic Left (DIMAR) with 1.5 percent while 4 percent of the respondents expressed preference to other parties and 12.5 percent said that they would not vote.

    The unidentified vote was 25 percent and the blank vote reached 3.5 percent.

    In response to who would be most suitable for prime minister, current Prime Minister Antonis Samaras (who is also ND party leader) was chosen by 40 percent of the respondents, followed by SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras with 30 percent, while 27 percent said "none of above".

    The geographic coverage of the opinion poll was nationwide and was conducted between 4 and 10 March 2014.
