Independent deputy Stathis Boukouras and Golden Dawn deputy Giorgos Germenis, currently held on remand, on Wednesday will be given the opportunity to address Parliament and take part in the roll-call vote that will decide whether they will be stripped of their immunity from prosecution.

The President of the Parliament Evangelos Meimarakis has asked the transfer to be conducted with full respect to the criminal code provisions as well as the rights of the detained.

For this reason, the Parliament has not released details on how and when the two detained deputies will enter the House to participate in the debate which is scheduled to start at noon.
