ANA/MPA---Competitiveness and Development Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday is meeting with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble in the framework of his working visit to Berlin.

Dendias will also meet with Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel and the leadeship of the Federation of German Industry.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dendias met with the Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor Helge Braun, with whom he discussed issues related to the strengthening of business and vocational education in several sectors such as tourism. The Greek minister also referred to the Greek government's plan to promote innovation and support for neophyte companies (start-ups).

On Monday evening, Dendias attended a working dinner with representatives of state investment bank KfW. The representatives of the German bank were reportedly impressed by the progress of reforms in Greece. They also expressed their intention to complete as soon as possible the procedures concerning the operation of the Greek Investment Fund so as to speed up the financing and enhance the liquidity of Greek businesses, particularly small and medium sizes enterprises (SMEs).
