    ANA-MPA - The Greek revolution set the framework of values on which the Greek state was built, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Wednesday following the military parade in downtown Athens to celebrate Greek Independence Day.

    "Today we must remember that nothing was given to us for free, everything was claimed after struggle, and when you are right then you win," Tsipras said, noting that the Greek revolution "obliges us to guard vigilantly the Greek people's freedom, independence and dignity."

    He added, "When the Greek people demand something, are decisive and have justice on their side, they can achieve everything."

    ANA- MPA - A Euro Working Group teleconference between Greece and European technical experts on the economy was concluded in a good climate on Wednesday noon, according to the finance ministry.

    The communication of the Greek side with the technical experts continues as normal, the government said.

    On Tuesday, EFSF press spokesperson has confirmed that Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem has asked the EFSF to examine the request for the return of 1.2 billion euros to Greece and inform him. Dijsselbloem has also asked the head of the Eurogroup Working Group President Thomas Wieser to examine the issue, the spokesperson said.

    The amount would be returned by the European Financial Stability Fund (EFSF) to Greece through the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund (HFSF) in Greecemso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";

    The same Community sources told ANA-MPA that the meeting must be unanimous in order for the HFSF request to be approved.
