[01] Thessaloniki waterway receives environmental approvalThe approval of the environmental conditions for the establishment of a waterway in Thessaloniki was issued on Monday, said the Environment Ministry.The ministry in its announcement reminds that the 11 approved environmental licences that have already been signed refer to the creation of waterways in the area of Aghia Marina in Grammatiko, in the island of Alonissos, Paxi, Patmos, Skopelos, Skyros and Tinos as well as in the cities of Volos, Patra, Rethymno and Thessaloniki. [03] Charter flights to Kos airport 13 pct down in JulyCharter flights arrivals at Hippocrates airport of Kos posted a 13 pct decline in July. The decline is mostly attributed to migrants and refugees arrivals and had a negative affect to the islands' tourist image.According to Civil Aviation Service date, the passengers were 28,838 less in comparison with the relative period in 2015. Arrivals from Poland were 27 pct down, Netherlands (-19 pct), Denmark (-37 pct), Austria (-28 pct) and Belgium (-34 pct). On the contrary arrivals from Russia posted an 18 pct increase, from Switzerland 6 pct rise and from Israel were up 18 pct.
