  • [01] Government tables mobility bill for civil servants

The ministry of administrative reconstruction submitted on Friday night a draft bill introducing a new system of voluntary mobility for civil servants.

The main elements of the bill are its voluntary character as well as the fact that employees will have access to all positions available. It also foresees the creation of a digital organizational chart of the public Administration and local government, which will reflect the structure and staffing of all government bodies.

The new system concerns political administrative employees who are permanent staff or have an indefinite private law contract and are serving in public administration and local government bodies. It does not include court employees, employees of detention facilities and employees in all sectors of the National Healthcare Service and ambulance service.
