    The United Nations (UN) on Tuesday rejected reports that UN secretary general Antonio Guterres is discontent with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, according to Cyprus News Agency (CNA) on Tuesday.

    The UN continues to hope that there will be an agreement for Cyprus and want to make sure that this is a lasting one, Deputy spokesman for the UNSG Antonio Guterres, Farhan Haq has said.

    "We continue to hope that there will be an agreement. Obviously, we want to make sure this is a lasting and sustainable agreement, and we'll work in good faith with all the various sides", Haq stressed.

    [02] Tourism demand for Greece spikes in 2017, Kountoura says

    Tourist demand from Germany, Britain, Hollande and Austria spikes in 2017, according to tour operators, Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura posted on Twitter on Tuesday.

    Kountoura underlined that the ministry will focus on new markets in 2017.

    A few days earlier, Austria's biggest tour operator TUI, said that "Greece will be this year's trend."
