    The list with the ten most beautiful beaches in Greece according to Tripadvisor was published in Paris Match as proposal to its readers.

    At the top of the list is Elafonissi beach on Crete for its crystal clear and warm waters and its natural beauty.

    In the second place was another Cretan beach, the exotic Balou beach in Chania. Third was Kleftiko on Milos island followed by Aghios Pavlos beach on Rhodes.

    The famous Simos beach on Elafonissos was fifth followed by Navagio beach on Zakynthos, Sarakiniko beach on Milos, Porto Katsiki on the island of Lefkada, the Anthony Quinn beach in the gulf of Faliraki on Rhodes and Myrtos beach on Cephallonia.

    However, Paris Match's favourite is Kleftiko on Milos because according to the magazine's article Kleftiko beach is surrounded by a landscape of unique natural beauty with natural stone arches and turquoise waters.

    [02] Tourism Min Kountoura meets UNESCO Director-General candidate Khattab

    Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met with the Egyptian Arab Republican candidate for the post of UNESCO Director-General, former Minister and Ambassador, Moushira Khattab, who is paying a visit to Greece.

    Ambassador of Egypt to Greece, Mohamed Farid Monib, and Advisor, Dahlia Abdel Fattah attended the meeting. Khattab thanked Greece for the initial support to the Egyptian candidacy in the elections scheduled for the autumn of 2017 for the position of the UNESCO Directorate-General.

    On her part, Kountoura referred to the historic links between Greece and Egypt and the friendship of their peoples, as well as to the considerable efforts that have been made in the last two years to strengthen bilateral tourism relations.
