[01] Ο Λίβανος χωρίς πρόεδρο

Ο Λίβανος είναι από σήμερα χωρίς πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας, καθώς έληξε η θητεία του απερχόμενου Εμίλ Λαχούντ, ενώ κυβέρνηση και αντιπολίτευση δεν κατάφεραν μετά από πολύμηνες διαπραγματεύσεις να εκλέξουν νέο πρόεδρο. Ο απερχόμενος πρόεδρος δήλωσε ότι εμπιστεύεται την ασφάλεια της χώρας στο στρατό, ενώ ο πρωθυπουργός Φουάντ Σινιόρα δήλωσε ότι η κυβέρνησή του αναλαμβάνει όλες τις εξουσίες της προεδρίας έως ότου εκλεγεί νέος πρόεδρος.
