Famous 67 years old actress Elena Nathanael, passed away today in "Metropolitan" hospital where she had being hospitalized during the last two months suffering from lung cancer. Her husband Tassos Mitropoulos and her daughter Inka never left her side.

Elena Nathanael was born in Athens in 1951 and studied Drama in Pelos Katselis Dramatic Scholl. She made her debut in Giannis Dalianidis film "Kati na Kaioi" (Something to Burn) in 1963 and since then she starred in many Greek films while her theatre career was also important.
