The latest information on the suicide attack that took place near a mosque in Bagdad killed 38 and injured 55. Based on Iraqi army sources, Reuters news agency reports that the attack had taken place on a checkpoint outside the Imam Moussa al-Kadhim shrine in the Kadhimiya area, where it is inhabited mostly by Shia. The victims were pilgrims. It is feared that the number of victims will rise. The attack took place a few days before the pilgrims were preparing for the Ashura holiday to mourn the death of Imam Hussein in the seventh century.
