    Wednesday, 15 September 2010 14:45

Former Foreign Minister D. Bakoyiani appeared before the Parliament Inquiry Committee to make her statement on the Siemens case scandal. Mrs. Bakoyiannis denied any institutional involvement with Siemens and underlined she had only social and personal relations with former Siemens chief M. Hristoforakos. In the meantime, the Parliament Inquiry Committee released letters in which Mr. Alogoskufis, Mr. Bulgarakis and Mr. Markoyiannakis refused to allow opening of their bank accounts. Mr. Alogoskufis, however, in a written statement underlines that he has never reused to send data to the Inquiry Committee on Siemens case.

In response to a relevant reporters' question, she said that an answer should be given to the Siemens scandal because it has exposed Greece. She also said that a big progress has been made with judicial cooperation among states and underlined that the political world wants and it is feasible to find where the political money has gone.
