    Thessaloniki 18 June (MPA)

The Greek exports to Yugoslavia showed an impressive increase compared to the Greek export activity to the country before the war in former Yugoslavia and the UN embargo.

In the first 10 months of 1996, exports doubled in the region of New Yugoslavia compared to the exports in 1990 in the whole former Yugoslavia.

Nevertheless, there is skepticism over the fact that the largest part in the total export earnings, 70%, comes from fuel, while in 1990 the fuel sector covered just 11% of the Greek exports.

At the same time, traditional Greek products, which in the past occupied the first place in the Greek exports, have not regained the ground they have lost in that specific market since the early '90's.

Turkish Prime Minister mr Netcentin Erbakan submitted today his resignation to the President of the Turkish Republic mr Suleiman Demirel.

Tomorrow President Demirel will start consulltations with all the party leaders so that a new government is formed but the three parties have a parliamentary force that can be support a government and it is expected that mr Demirel will give ms Ciller the mandate to form the next government.

Yet it is still not known whether the Great Unity will take part in the government or it will be a True Path minority government with the parliamentary support of the other two parties.

Political sources in Ankara doubt whether mr Ciller will be voted unamimously by the deputies of her party and it is not excluded that she will form a 35-member minority cabinet so that she could include all party dissidents and receive some votes from members of the main opposition party of Motherland.
