Turnover: 3.3 bil drachma on 1.4 mil shares(1.2 mil shs declined).
Largest turnover issues: Alpha Cr Bk(734mil), Comm Bk(213mil),ergo 
Bk(167mil), Attica Enterp(132mil)
Largest volume issues: Biometal (165m),Attica Enterp(141m),
Alpha Credit Bk(58m), Kosmos(52m)
All sector indices fell. Profit taking among outperformed stocks pulled 
down prices accross the board. 
Forex fix:  usd= 224.705, dem=162.470, jpy=267.485

-Playboy Enterprises(!) joined a consortiun of Greek invstors in 
applying for a casino license on the island of Rhodes.
-Fin Ministry looks for ways to sutain the rate of growth in revenue and 
meet budget targets.
-Central bank concerns the prevailing high money market liquidity which 
might lead to higher inflation. Central bank ins forced to absorb excess 
fund through continuous interventions.
-Candidates likely to become the OTE telecom's issue advisor on ASE 
floatation: Comm Bk, Nat'l Bk of Gr . Alpha Finance, and NIBID(ETBA).
-President Clinton's financial advisors, visiting Athens, said Greece 
looks promising to American investors.
-Greek Railways(OSE) will purchase 15 high-tech locomotives from german 
ABB Henchel AG(21 bil drs deal..60 % funded by EU).
-Hellenic Industrial Development Bk(ETBA) will issue 12 mo- notes at 
15.50% net. Notes will be available on June 30 and July 3.
