[01] International Conference on Greece and the relations between the
West and Russia in Delphi
ANA/MPA---Greece and the relations between the West and Russia will
dominate an international conference taking place in Delphi this weekend,
with the participation of internationally known personalities from
Europe, Russia, and the United States.
Among the participants are US economist James Galbraith, Italian
politician and former MEP Giulietto Chiesa, leaders of the French "Left
Party" and the Portuguese "Left Bloc", Alternate Culture Minister Nikos
Xydakis, and many others.
The meeting will focus on EU and Greek crisis, the deterioration
of relations with Russia and the danger of another "cold" war and a
possible generalisation of the conflict in Ukraine and other regions of
the former USSR.
The event is supported by Lyssaridis Foundation, the Russian Institute
for Globalization and Social Movements, the Greek Institute of Research
for Development and Governance (INERPOST), the "Forum Mondial des
Alternatives" and "agora-dialogue.com."
