  • [01] GREEN LIGHT FOR THE BEGINNING OF CULTURAL LIFE IN ALBANIA

TIRANE, APRIL 20 (ATA) - By Agim Baci: The National City Folk Festival envisaged to be held by mid-March in Elbasan city, will be held this weekend.

"We think that the festival will be held by the end of this week. As for the security measures we have been confirmed by the town-hall of Elbasan," said the director of the the Cultural department in the Ministry of Culture, Adem Jakllari.

Hence, after some charity concerts in the name of peace and to the memory of the victims of the Straits of Otranto, performed during this period of the state of emergency, it seems that the green light is being opened for the resumption of the normal cultural activities.

Jakllari insists in the adoption of strict security measures for the normal course of the festival. ake/kei/xh/k
