SARAJEVO - The Ministry for Information of Republika Srpska (RS) announced that the project about "reconstruction of the unique Serbian Radio Television (SRT)" from the Office of the High Representative (OHR) Carlos Westendorp - is not accepted, by remark that "doors are still wide open for negotiations". The Ministry of Information considers that the recent talks were futile because OHR under "reconstruction" of SRT understands "patronage of International Community and some political forces inside RS, with an aim to affect on forthcoming parliamentary elections".

BANJALUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic talked in Banjaluka with the Head of OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina Robert Frowick about forthcoming parliamentary elections, conditions in media and about implementation of local elections results.

VUKOVAR - By UNTAES decision from October 1 all motor vehicles which circulating via territory of Eastern Slavonia must have Croatian registrations plates.
