    Britain - Cyprus - Turkey - EU

London, Sep 25 (CNA) - British Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Chris Smith, believes that Cyprus must be part of the process of Turkey's relations with the European Union.

He said "Cyprus has to be an integral part of any decision that is made on that, because so long as there is the Turkish occupation, that must remain a major stumbling block to the road of complete Turkish integration into the European Community". CNA/KT/RG/GP/2000
