[01] ENERGY COMMISSIONER - CYPRUS - VISIT
European Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs arrives Thursday in
Cyprus, as part of his visit to the 27 EU members, to present the
Commission`s new energy policy to the governments and interested
institutions, organizations and businesses and to the media.
On Friday, the Commission will have a meeting with Foreign Minister
George Lillikas and afterwards he will be received by Cyprus President
Tassos Papadopoulos, accompanied by Minister of Commerce, Industry and
Tourism Antonis Michaelides.
