    Minister of Communications and Works Erato Kozakou Markoullis has once again raised the issue of Turkish embargoes on Cypriot ships, at the EU 27 Council of Ministers of Transport, which was recently held in Belgium.

    In statements in Paphos, Markoullis said the matter was fully understood and that in the official meeting of the Ministers in Luxembourg, in October, the issue of Turkish bans on ships and airplanes will be raised again.

    Markoullis said one of the aims was for the EU to take measures against Turkey.

    [02] CYPRIOT SHOOTER - GOLD MEDAL

    Cypriot shooter Bianca Kassianides won the gold medal in skeet women games, at the 3rd World University Shooting Championship held in Wroclaw, Poland, September 15-19. Moreover Cyprus men`s national skeet team secured the second place.

    At the final game, Kassianides won victory with 91/100 discs, while Aleksandra Jarmolinksa from Polland finished second with 89/100
